We work with the movie producer, whilst the movies are being made.

Characters
To develop character merchandise we use the highest quality 3D data, to ensure the accuracy of the products.

Figurines
We then either rapid prototype the models or sculpt them in clay to create a master.
A first prototype is then made for the Movie owner to review and approve.
Once the final approval has been granted figurines of various types are then produced using different materials.

All the items are then hand painted and packed into a high quality Gift box and are then shipped to retailers

Plush Toys
For the Character plush toys we do an evaluation on each character to determine the type of plush that will be suitable for the movie characters. We then make them in variety of styles.

- Bean Bag
- Soft plush
- Doll type (with a soft PVC or ABS Head)

Stationary
For the Stationary items we design a range of stationary, using the authorized images to produce attractive items that are of interest to the movie fan.

Electronic Items
We design and manufacture electronic consumers products, using characters and features from the movies. The items can be simple like a clock to more complex items with screen based interface.

The manufacturing processes involved are as follows:

- Injection moulding

- Vac forming
- Diecut panels
- PCB design and fabrication
- Silk screening

GIft Items
We design and produce gift items that ideal for the fan to carry on their person, to show their appreciation of the movies, these include items like key chains, USB drives, stress toys and others

 

QUALITY CONTROL

A critical part of the process is ensuring that the products are manufactured to the highest standard, by factories, that comply with all the required international standards for each product category, for each the markets.

The following are some examples of the standards that need to be met to ensure with compliance.

We ensure the vendors are certified to ISO 9,000 and ISO 14,000

For electronic products they need to comply with RoHS for Europe and be certified either by ETL or UL for American retailers

Toy products need to pass all safety standards and comply with EN71

The product packaging will need to meet the retailers drop test requirements, to ensure that the products do not get damaged in transit.

In addition some companies and retail stores have a social compliance charter which must be met.

 

LOGISTICS

We ship the movie merchandise globally either using Sea Freight or if time is of the essence by Air Freight, either to a chosen ware house or directly to the retailers store if required.
